Research Interests:
My cancer research interest focuses on pain related to cancer treatment, such as mucositis-related oropharyngeal pain, bony pain, and neuropathic pain. Studying the contributions of inflammation and cytokine dysregulation that underlie the tissue injury and repair mechanisms associated with cancer treatment-induced pain may lead to better understanding of these mechanisms in disease conditions to improve therapeutic modalities for cancer pain.
