What is the impact of using stainless steel rods instead of titanium rods for spinal fusion?

Titanium is less brittle and stronger per diameter which gives a lower profile for children or adults who are thin. Second, Titanium is less likely have biofilm form, reducing colonization/infection rates. There are many other benefits associated with the use of titanium rods, which leads surgeons to prefer them over stainless steel.

I have scar tissue on the front of my brain that is causing seizures, can this be removed?

Unless a formal neurological exam and EEG monitoring are done with imaging, it would be hard to determine the safety of removal of scar tissue.
