I have small fibroids and very heavy bleeding. I want to have children and I've tried everything, but it is only getting worse. Could Uterine Fibroid Embolization help?

This is not a simple question. There certainly have been women who have had UFE and have become pregnant. The role of UFE for you needs to be discussed in detail with an interventional radiologist in person. Unfortunately without reviewing your case, we can't go much further except to say that there is a possibility it may be suitable. Your next step should be to schedule a consultation with an expert interventional radiologist.

When having a cranial arteriogram, why is the catheter inserted into the groin rather than the neck?

The arteries from the groin are used to reach all arteries throughout the body, including the head. It is the most routine and safest approach.
